Who we are

Coolblue is one of the largest and most customer-friendly online retailers in the Netherlands and Belgium, and we're also active in Germany. We have a wide range, from telephones to laptops and from washing machines to fridges. Our own delivery service delivers packages in our vans or electric bikes. We also have an installation service and customer service. With 6300 Coolbluers, we work hard every day to make customers happy. For example, we give expert advice and deliver your package to your home the next day.

We work in Scrum teams to ensure constant feedback and improvement and we aim to deliver new improvements daily.

Houcem moved to the Netherlands to work as an iOS developer at Coolblue in 2020. He loves traveling, soccer, supping, and stroopwafels. He’s happy to share his experience with his role, with Coolblue, and with his relocation to the Netherlands. 

Your qualification

• You have over 5 years of experience with React and/or Vanilla JavaScript
• You have over 2 years of experience with giving feedback, motivating and coaching developers with their technical and soft skills
• Scrum/Agile comes naturally to you
• Experience with HTML and CSS/SCSS
• Experience in a Back-End language such as C# is a bonus
• You're capable of solving problems by using accepted best practices and principles like TDD/BDD, SOLID, and design patterns
